Why Firefighters Choose Firecom

We installed the first-generation Firecom wireless intercom system back in 2008. Firecom, a division of Sonetics Corporation, is located in Oregon and is focused on supporting firefighter fireground communications, safety, and hearing protection. Their wireless headsets use patented DECT technology to provide hands-free full-duplex intercom, Listen-Through, 2-way radio integration, and Bluetooth compatibility.

Solutions for Fire Apparatus

The Firecom 500-series digital intercom and the WB505R wireless base station are installed in the vehicle and provide two-way radio integration with an optional interface cable. Wireless and wired headsets are available with configurations for the driver, officer, and crew.

Ruggedizer silicone headset covers are available in 14 colors to designate roles, identify your fire department, and improve visibility. Some headsets include a red Ruggedizer cover that can be easily changed.

The 114-0141-00 high-capacity replaceable headset battery will last up to 44 hours and provides up to 1,600 feet of range.
