New Name & Still Quality Products
This month, Cradlepoint became Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, a division of Ericsson. The Swedish telecom giant completed the purchase back in late 2020 to strengthen their leadership position in 5G solutions.
Ericsson Cradlepoint is now the product brand for Ericsson's routers and other endpoints, while Ericsson NetCloud is still the name of the cloud-based management platform. Although the name has changed the products and support appear to be only getting better.
Cradlepoint NASPO contract pricing is not affected by the name change and eligible agencies can still take advantage of the discounts until September 30, 2026.
