The radio uses the digital 900 MHz license-free ISM band. Digital is more secure and battery life is up to 11.5 hours with the included standard battery. It will cover up to 20 floors in buildings up to 300,000 sq ft.
NextGen 2-Way Radio with Optional WiFi
The Curve is compatible with Motorola's DTR/DLR series radios supporting up to 10 groups or private one-to-one contacts. It also has the capability to connect to your building's WiFi network and provide additional productivity enhancements.
Voice commands, group announcments, and the ability to leave voice messages to users across multiple shifts is possible. Workers can retrieve messages when starting their shift after logging in with their radio. More features are planned to interface with Motorola's Safety Reimagined eco system. This option will require a low cost seat-based monthly subscription when activated.
