Who We Are

Magnum Electronics, Inc. is a family-owned communications systems integrator headquartered in Dover, Delaware. Our focus is supporting mission-critical emergency workers in government and enterprise. We are certified to supply and service public-safety digital 2-way radio systems, 4G LTE wireless networks, video security, access control, rugged mobile computers, and GPS fleet management.

We are a Motorola Solutions Elite Specialist Channel Partner, Manufacturer Representative, Federal Market MR, and Service Specialist. Magnum Electronics is an Avigilon Authorized Partner certified to provide video security systems with Motorola radio integration.

We provide an extensive selection of radio accessories including David Clark and 3M Peltor hearing protection for all major radio brands.

Magnum Electronics - Delaware and Beyond

As digital RF voice communications transitions to IP-based wireless networks, we are focusing our efforts to increase training on LTE network technology, software applications, and interoperability. In 2014, Magnum Electronics became a certified Cradlepoint Partner to support public-safety agencies for mobile cellular connectivity. After significant growth and technical certifications, we're now a Premier-level partner and a leading provider of LTE 4G wireless networks.

Magnum Electronics is a Panasonic Toughbook Authorized Mobility Partner offering rugged laptops and tablets. We also provide installation upfit services, on-site, and remote technical support.

Since 2005 we've supplied GPS location, tracking, and reporting systems. Our third generation Magnum AVL GPS fleet and asset trackers improve fleet efficiencies throughout the US and Canada. Offering easy to use web-based mapping and reporting, Magnum AVL low-cost service plans are available without a long-term contract.

Technical and managed services are a significant source of our annual revenue. Our Dover technology center has drive-in installation bays and secure areas where we design, stage and optimize systems prior to installation. Our staff maintains technical certifications to support local and remote customers with a goal of developing long-term customer and supplier relationships.

Our eCommerce website includes thousands of products with compatibility documentation to help with your online buying experience. And...we still answer our phones with live, trained representatives during normal business hours.

Bill and Marcia Ridenour own the company and are active in the local community. The company is a member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, Greater Kent Committee, ABC Delaware, and the Central Delaware Chamber. As a member of APCO, there is a strong focus on public-safety communications. The company supports the Delaware Volunteer Fire Association (DVFA) and the Delaware Police Chief's Council.

Our company started selling two-way radios in 1991 throughout the Delmarva Peninsula and now solves complex communications and network problems for Customers nationwide.
