Magnum Remote Technical Support
What is Remote Tech Support?
Remote Tech Support allows a technician to access your computer screen over the internet to troubleshoot issues you may be experiencing without having to be sitting in front of your computer. Magnum Electronics uses TeamViewer to quickly and securely troubleshoot computer related problems remotely. You simply need to download a Remote Tech Support tool and then run it. Once the program starts up, it will send a "Trouble Ticket" to our technicians with your name and a brief explanation of the problem. When a technician is available to troubleshoot the problem the program will prompt you with a message asking for permission to take control of your computer. Once you click "Allow" the technician will be able to see your computer screen just like he was sitting in front of the monitor. He will be able to quickly assess the problem and more often than not resolve the issue. Once the issue has been resolved (or it has been determined that an on-site visit will need to be scheduled to further investigate the issue) you just close the Remote Tech Support Tool and you're done. Nothing is installed on your computer to allow this connection, so there's no need to uninstall the program after the session ends. If you need further assistance in the future you can just download the Remote Tech Support Tool again and repeat the process.
TeamViewer is an industry leader in remote assistance software and uses the highest level of security and encryption available to create a connection to your computer. Click here to read more about TeamViewer.

How Does it Work?
Click on the "Remote Tech Support" button above to begin your download of the Remote Support Tool. A new page will open and your download will begin automatically. You can choose to "download" the tool to your computer or "run" it without downloading the file to your computer.
Once the download is complete, double-click the file to open it. As soon as the program opens it will send a "trouble ticket" to the Magnum Technicians and you will be placed in a queue until a technician is available to respond. Enter your name (or the name of your company) and a brief description of the problem.
When the technician responds a window will appear on your screen asking if you would like to allow the Magnum Technician to control your computer. As soon as you select "Allow," the technician will be connected to your computer and will begin to troubleshoot the issue.
After the technician is finished troubleshooting you can simply close the Remote Support window. Nothing is installed on your computer, so once you close the window the technician will no longer have access to your computer until the Remote Support Tool is downloaded again.
