Raytheon JPS Communications

ACU-1000

Raytheon JPS Communications’ ACU technology provides the foundation to solve your communications interoperability needs. The flagship product is the ACU-1000 which can interconnect up to 24 devices. If you need a smaller solution, the ACU-T has much the functionality of the ACU-1000 but in a smaller, more portable design. Coupled with radio over internet protocol (RoIP) / voice over internet protocol (VoIP) products, the ACU-1000 can be networked to provide hundreds of nodes for larger applications and for wide area interoperability systems (WAIS).

ACU-1000: All of our interoperability products have a common building block, our time-tested, proven, unsurpassed ACU-1000 technology.

  • Fixed Site: If your application calls for a comprehensive interoperability system in a permanent installation, this is the solution we recommend.
  • Transportable: If your interoperability needs call for fast response, smaller size, in remote locations, a transportable system is the way to go. Our TRP family of products is a good example. They offer superior versatility and fast installation.
  • Mobile: JPS offers mobile configurations that feature fully interoperable communications systems in a van, bus, or other vehicle of your choosing. We can help you design the mobile configuration that best meets the needs in your areas of geographic coverage.
  • Wide Area Interoperability System (WAIS): JPS also supports your wide area communications needs, including intra-state, state-to-state, and coast to coast interconnectivity.

ACU-T

The ACU-T provides tactical packaging for the proven ACU-1000 modular interoperability system. The ACU-T has much of the same functionality as the ACU-1000 but in a small rugged unit suitable for tactical or vehicular use and rapid deployment. Weighing less than eight pounds, the ACU-T incorporates a drip proof top cover; quick connect/disconnect CPC connectors for radio interfacing; and a keypad, speaker, and handset for local control and monitoring.

ACU-M

Raytheon's new ACU-M is a miniature interoperability device built on the proven ACU technology. The device has an intuitive control panel for operation, field diagnostics and programming. Weighing less than 3 pounds, the ACU-M is easily deployed and affordably priced. The ACU-M provides interoperability between its four audio ports (for radios or other devices), two voice over internet protocol (VoIP) channels and a headset port.
