Magnum Electronics is an Authorized Motorola Sales and Service Partner, Manufacturer’s Rep, Federal Sales Specialist, and Motorola Warranty Service Center. The company earned Motorola's 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 MOTOSTAR Excellence Award for their business results, customer focus, and employee training.

Whelen Engineering certified the company to distribute their Outdoor Warning Mass Notification systems. As a Globalstar Authorized Dealer Magnum Electronics provides portable and fixed satellite digital communications. The company also has expertise with GPS location, tracking, and reporting systems. Magnum Electronics is  certified by Raytheon JPS, Zetron, Federal Signal, Firecom, Peltor, and David Clark for its sales and service capabilities.

Bill and Marcia Ridenour own the company and are active in the local community. The company is a member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and the Central Delaware Chamber. As a member of the Mideastern chapter of APCO there is a strong focus on public-safety communications.

The company supports the Delaware Volunteer Fire Association (DVFA) and is a sustaining member of the Delaware State Fire Chief's Association. Activities with the law enforcement community include the Delaware State Fire Police, Delaware Police Chief's Association, and the IACP.
